At the age of twelve,  I gave my first haircut. Believing that because my Mom was a stylist,  I naturally, inheritantly was able to do a layered haircut. It was a disaster! Yet I was drawn to learning this craft. I have been doing hair for over 20 years now. At one point, however, about 10 years ago, I thought that maybe I should "be something more" something "bigger, more important" I went to school to become a teacher. I graduated cum laude and started subbing everywhere I could. I went on numerous interviews and several times it came down to me and one other candidate. Obviously, thankfully, I wasnt chosen. During that time, I often wondered, "Why am i not good enough?" I always found solace in the joy of my clients. I realized how blessed I was to be trusted with their hair and their hearts. I finally, enthusiastically returned to my first love completey! I never imagined I would own my own little salon. This is my Sanctuary, filled with love, laughter, and sometimes tears.  Nothing is better than this! I thank God  for that "unanswered " prayer. What He has for me and for you is always more than we can ask, hope, or think.
